Ragnar Lodbrok

Ragnar Lodbrok is a young fervent priest of Moradin from the Iron Hills. His mother was eaten by a purple worm while he was still young. He was raised by his father, Lodbrok Guthrum, who spent his mornings in the mines and evenings in the forges. Ragnar passed his formidable years in the service of the Evangelical Church of Moradin. As a requirement to be ordained, he must venture into the world and perform dangerous missionary work.

Moradin isn't looking for people of great faith, but for individuals ready to follow!

Having traveled far and wide and spent time soaking up the cultures of Altha'Ruin, Ragnar does not present like a common dwarven miner or soldier. He stayed for a summer in an Elven encampment after having been lost in the Great Wilds. There, he styled his beard and hair in the fashion of his hosts with long braids, flowers, and fine clasps. One winter, Ragnar traveled with the great caravan companies from Eveningwood, to Galahad, to the Elemental Isles, through all the climates that the world had to offer. He learned from the merchants to adapt to his environment so he wears comfortable leather boots and versatile jackets and cloaks. Another thing you'd notice about Ragnar is the varied, and often contradictory, symbols, talismans, and other markings arrayed about his person and gear.

Ragnar traveled to the nearby trade city of Terrapin to discover the workings an "independent" city. And he hears that the wizard school might contain a secret or two about purple worms.
